About Us
IndiaConsent is built by Jobihood Technologies Pvt Ltd, a Delhi-based technology company founded with a single mission: to make India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act, 2023) simple, scalable, and trustworthy for every organisation and every individual.
Our Purpose
We exist to bridge the gap between complex privacy regulation and practical implementation.
When the DPDP Rules 2025 were notified in November 2025, we saw that most organisations would struggle with the new consent, notice, and accountability requirements. At the same time, Data Principals deserved a single, easy-to-use platform to control their personal data across multiple services.
That is why we built IndiaConsent — a neutral, data-blind Consent Manager platform designed from the ground up to meet the strict requirements of Rule 4 and the First Schedule of the DPDP Rules 2025.
What We Believe
- Consent is not a checkbox — it is a living right of every Data Principal.
- Privacy infrastructure must be data-blind by design: we must never be able to read or access the underlying personal data we help route.
- Transparency and zero conflicts of interest are non-negotiable for any entity that wants to register as a Consent Manager.
- Compliance should be an opportunity to build trust, not just a regulatory burden.
Our Approach
We do not sell consent tools.
We provide the statutory-grade infrastructure that Data Fiduciaries need and Data Principals deserve:
- Data-blind architecture — personal data routed through our platform remains encrypted and unreadable by us (First Schedule, Part B, item 2).
- Tamper-evident, cryptographically verifiable records retained for a minimum of 7 years.
- Direct fiduciary duties to every Data Principal who uses our platform.
- Zero-conflict-of-interest governance — built into our company structure from day one.
- API-first, interoperable platform that works with any existing tech stack.
We are not a generic consent popup company. We are building the infrastructure that will power compliant, user-centric consent management across India once the Data Protection Board opens registration under Rule 4 in November 2026.
Our Journey So Far
- 2024–2025: Deep research into the DPDP Act, Rules, and First Schedule obligations.
- Early 2026: Built core platform with privacy-by-design principles.
- April 2026: Launched public beta with free pilot programme for forward-looking enterprises.
- Now: Preparing for formal DPB registration the moment Rule 4 becomes effective.
Every line of code, every policy, and every process at IndiaConsent is shaped by one question:
“Does this serve the interest of Data Principals while making compliance effortless for Data Fiduciaries?”
